Award Criteria

  • Your leadership provides a strong vision and support for energy efficiency and environmental policies.
  • You take actions in tracking and recording energy efficiency improvements.
  • You demonstrate long-term planning and commitment to energy reduction and sustainability.
  • You instill workplace programs encouraging energy conservation and waste reduction.
  • You are a Community Ambassador influencing GREEN practices within your community (i.e. staff, customers, suppliers, public).

Eligibility

  • You are currently operating an existing business in B.C. for a minimum of 25 months or have completed more than 2 fiscal years as of December 31st, 2011.
  • You employ less than 50 employees.
  • Shortlisted (Top 10 most voted) nominees will be required to submit additional information supporting the extended award criteria.
