Green Coast Rubbish is an environmentally conscious junk removal and recycling company who is concerned with thinking globally and acting locally. Green Coast was founded on the principle of how to improve the way that waste was managed in our community, as we felt that there was a definite need to offer more proactive and environmentally responsible solutions to our solid waste issues.
As such, we have worked extremely hard over the past five years employing sustainable waste diversion and recycling practices within our community. In fact, we diverted a whopping 75% of the 180 tonnes of material we hauled in 2010 to recycling or other waste streams. Something even our leading competitors haven’t yet managed to do. We are very proud of our accomplishment, and we continually strive to improve our diversion rate for the coming years.
